This sample code showcases how partners can integrate the ID.me verification tool onto their React application

> You will need an [ID.me developer account](https://api.id.me/en/registration/new) to complete this process

## Prerequisites

You must have `react`, `javascript`, and `npm` installed

## Installation

Download the [code](https://github.com/IDme/react-axios-sample-code)

Navigate to the project directory and run

```bash
npm start
```

## Steps for a successful verification

Select the **Verify With ID.me** button

Continue through the user flow

Allow the release of data

Check the console for user data

## Steps for an unsuccessful verification

Select the **Verify With ID.me** button

Continue through the user flow

Deny the release of data

See the appropriate error message

## Sample Error Messages

* Invalid Request
* Invalid Client
* Invalid Redirect URI
* Access Denied
* Unsupported Response Type
* Invalid Scope
