Legal ID SDK test personas | ID.me Developer

Test personas are fake identities that you can use in sandbox. You can use a persona in two ways:

Legal ID SDK mock: Enter the persona’s phone number on the Choose mock outcome screen of the Legal ID SDK mock. Verification succeeds with that persona’s name, birth date, and address. The persona’s scenario is not used.
Mock document uploads: Name an uploaded ID document file with the persona’s phone number, for example 8887891962.jpg or 8887891962_front.jpg. ID.me returns the persona’s identity and its scenario outcome. For details, see Pick a persona with a file name.

Test personas only work in sandbox. Never enter real personal information when testing.

ID.me reads a legal ID’s first name field as a first name followed by any middle names, split at the first space. The Middle name column shows the result. For example, the first name field Mary Anne becomes the first name Mary and the middle name Anne.
